Addison is an incorporated town in Dallas County, Texas, in the United States. Addison is situated to the immediate north of the city of Dallas.

The community was formerly known as Noell Junction after settler Sidney Smith Noell, after whom Noel Road and Knoll Trail are named. Because of Addison's overwhelmingly commercial atmosphere, residents of Addison enjoy a unique lifestyle not common in other suburbs.

Frisco hosts the Museum of the American Railroad, which is based out of the Frisco Heritage Museum displays antiques, vintage cars and railroad memorabilia. Frisco is home to several sporting venues, many major sports teams headquarters, and an NCAA Division I conference headquarters. In April 2011, Men's Journal named Frisco the Best Place to Raise an Athlete.
